„We are surrounded by special places; with their own atmospheres and unfolding events. Reacting to this phenomenon, Holzig are playing soundtracks with a preference for fine structures, containing a woodlike warmth.
Influenced by compositions from contemporary music, improvised music and alternative pop music, the result is a mixture of musical poetry, infatuation for sound, composition and urge to improvise. The simplicity of tuneful songs meets a polyphonic band, that is able to create collective soundscapes, which tends to stimulate cinematic images.“ (Holzig)
